THE REFRESH CENTRE

In Blackpool, the Refresh Centre continues to be home to people who are receiving their own help and support. We are playing host to some Iranian families and working to develop the building slowly. We have recently had a new boiler fitted and had repairs done to the toilets, and your support over the next 5 years is building towards that.

DEANSGATE - BLACKPOOL

Our mission hub in Blackpool has been making very slow progress, but your help and support is working towards getting the building ready for development. We had hoped to be quicker, but have been waiting for asbestos to be removed from the building - after scheduling issues, we were delighted that this was finally done in January. We have also had to wait for Blackpool Council to approve the planning permission but that has been issued at the end of February. Now, before development can start, we have to deals with roof damage at the building and are hoping to see progress moving forward after negotiations. We pray that the 5 year plan doesn't take the whole 5 years, but we hope to see a hub on the high street soon.

Thanks to Pete, the downstairs of the hub will be the Orchard Cafe and the upstairs a Christian Resource Centre, and we are believing God will intervene soon to make way.

HINCKLEY

Thanks to your support, we are looking at a building in the centre of Hinckley and hoping to see negotiations done on that soon.
